When you move to Victoria, start a new research group, recruit some PhD students - what do you do next? Well, to get to know each other a little better, we went to Mt Buller for a "snow day". For those who know Melbourne and surrounds, you will realise this involves 6 hrs of driving in the day - but this couldn't dampen our enthusiasm. Upon arrival we walked around the village, watched Kye and Ed organise their skiing for the day, and promptly found a lodge for lunch and cards.
