ACS Infectious Diseases recognises NEL and collaborators for their work in developing rapid sepsis diagnostics

We are delighted that the journal ACS Infectious Diseases has recognised our paper describing a bead-based flow cytometry assay for distinguishing gram-positive from gram-negative bacteria. The Virtual Series: Anti-Infectives Down Under highlights a range of excellent publications describing new approaches to diagnostics, imaging, therapeutics and related strategies to address the rapidly growing issue of drug-resistant microbes in our hospitals and communities. Australia hits well above its weight in terms of research quality, particularly in the field of microbiology, so we are proud to be represented! We learned a great deal from this study, and look forward to sharing new results and assay designs in the near future.
